- Send this outside your 1:1 meeting (eg every Fri or Mon) to save your 1:1 time for more important discussion.
- The point is to keep this super light. Don't let it become a novel. Your manager won't read it.
- Different managers will want different details. Send a few, then ask them if the structure is working for them. Adapt. Delete sub-headers you don’t need.
- Know that your manager might not actually read this each week. You’ll need to follow-up on important stuff in your 1:1.
